Things To Do
Close to the Coast: Within easy reach of the A30, just a five minute drive, Lovaton provides the perfect location if you wish to visit Dartmoor and the North and South Devon coasts. Tintagel, Lands End and the Lizard are also easy to reach. Why not take your children paddling on Dartmoor or to the beaches at Bude or Widemouth?
Walking and cycling: Perfect for families, couples and walkers alike, we offer the ideal base for country walking and cycling. Why not take your children letter-boxing on Dartmoor? Or team a walk across the moors with lunch at one of the many great pubs it has to offer?

Bring your dog: We are very dog friendly and welcome your dog with a water bowl and dog treats. There are areas you can exercise your dog in and a bin for anything your pooch might leave behind. Many great dog walks are within easy reach from our farm.
Our lawn: In the summer you can sit out on our lawn and relax with a nice cold drink. If you have children with you, there is a football net, basketball, swing ball, sandpit and paddling pool. So the children can play, while you relax. As we all know, happy children = relaxed parents.
Don't fancy the walk? Our friends at Proper Job Dartmoor Tours offer tours of Dartmoor (and it's pubs) in their luxury 6 seater Land Rover. With customised tours to suit your requirements, explore and learn all about Dartmoor in the company of a true Devonian and Dartmoor legend, Tich Scott.
